Design Guide |
At Seresco, we know that designing mechanical engineering specifications for indoor aquatic facilities is no small challenge. Managing humidity is critically important for the structural integrity of the building, as well as the health and comfort of its users. That makes correct load calculation and important factor in choosing the right equipment.
The tool below utilizes ASHRAE approved standards to calculate the appropriate dehumidification requirements.
NOTE: The load calculation/product selection above is based on a room design temperature of 82°F, water temperature of 82°F, and an occupied/unoccupied relative humidity of 60%/50% respectfully. Calculation also assumes nominal unit CFM, pool heating option and R410A refrigerant. The pool water temperature and activity factors have been assumed to be standard values for the chosen pool category.
